Medcor is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as an Occupational Health Clinic Manager and Case Manager at our employer-based health clinic in Cambridge, MA.
This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with occupational health, employee health, case management, emergency medicine, or critical care experience who is looking for a leadership role with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
You’ll work onsite in a modern global pharmaceutical facility, providing occupational health and acute/episodic care while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the onsite clinic. You’ll work alongside Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and partner closely with Medcor and client leadership.
This position offers $55.00–$60.00 per hour, additional earning potential based on experience, and an annual retention bonus.

About the Role
As the Occupational Health RN Clinic Manager and Case Manager, you’ll combine direct patient care, case management, and clinical leadership.
You’ll provide clinical support for employees experiencing workplace injuries, illnesses, and acute or episodic health concerns while coordinating treatment plans and facilitating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs.
You’ll also oversee the daily operations of the onsite health clinic, including patient flow, clinical processes, staff support, scheduling, training, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
This position serves as an important liaison between employees, Medcor clinical and operational leadership, and client partners in Human Resources, Safety, Environmental Health, and Benefits.
What You’ll Do
A typical day may include:
Leading and supporting the daily operations of the onsite occupational health clinic
Assessing and treating workplace injuries and illnesses
Providing care according to Medcor’s evidence-based clinical protocols
Providing acute and episodic care to employees
Managing occupational health and workers’ compensation cases
Coordinating Return-to-Work (RTW) programs and monitoring treatment plans
Supporting employee health, wellness, and injury-prevention initiatives
Collaborating with Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other healthcare professionals
Partnering with client HR, Safety, Environmental Health, and Benefits teams
Supporting pre-employment and post-offer health screenings
Conducting Physical Assessment Testing (PATs)
Maintaining accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Supporting OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
Managing clinic scheduling, patient flow, training, and operational processes
Building strong relationships with employees, client representatives, and Medcor leadership
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you must:
Be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license applicable to the position
Have current CPR/BLS certification
Be comfortable leading and supporting the operations of an onsite clinic
Have strong clinical assessment and patient-care skills
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be comfortable using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology
Be able to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Be able to lift and carry a 50-pound emergency response bag
Be passionate about providing high-quality, patient-focused care
