What You’ll Do:- Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
- Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
- Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
- Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
- Serve as a primary safety net for the labor and delivery unit
- Provide consults for pregnancy-related and gynecologic concerns
- Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
- Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives following evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, CNMs, and hospitalists
What You Need:- MD or DO with Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Recent delivery and surgical experience, including C-sections and emergency procedures
- Valid Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work 24-hour shifts and handle obstetric emergencies with confidence
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
About the Assignment:Join a reputable facility in Arlington, Texas, known for delivering approximately 1,300–1,500 births annually. The hospital features a Level III NICU, private maternity suites, and comprehensive maternal/ neonatal services. Providers will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, anesthesiologists, CNMs, and hospitalists, supporting a high-quality obstetric environment.
