    Description

    Duke Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Generalist or Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our Division of Duke Women’s Community and Population Health.

    • Perform complex gynecologic surgery (hysterectomies and other benign gynecologic procedures) and care for patients with complex medical and surgical histories.
    • DaVinci robotic, laparoscopic, and hysteroscopic surgeries at Duke University Hospital (DUH), Duke Regional Hospital (DRH), and the Duke Ambulatory Surgery Center in Durham, NC
    • Resident and medical student supervision and teaching in the clinics and OR.
    • Gynecologic care to patients of all ages including well women care, contraception, family planning, menopause and gynecologic problems.
    • Obstetrics and gynecology care provided at the Durham, NC clinic locations.
    • Support Maternal Fetal Medicine on L&D, performing scheduled procedures and supporting the high-risk obstetric care team.
    • Participation in departmental Grand Rounds.

    Candidate requirements include an MD/DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency. Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship is preferred. Candidates must have five years or more of postgraduate practice, either in private practice or in academic generalist practice.
