Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a Women’s Health setting. This Advanced Practitioner will be working under the supervision of multiple Physicians providing excellent patient care.

Overview:

Advanced Practice Provider – Outpatient OB/GYN– Cartersville, GA

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practitioner to join the OB/GYN team at Piedmont Cartersville. This Advanced Practitioner will be working under the supervision of multiple Physicians providing excellent patient care. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday day position practicing in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with care of patients in the clinic
• Communicate patient condition changes to physician and coordinate care
• Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology and other service lines in hospital

 

 

This position may also include covering the service pager after hours occasionally.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

 

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a Women’s Health setting.

Masters, bachelor’s degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

 Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification

 

Certified Nurse-Midwife preferred
