JD:
Core Responsibilities
ETL Development (ODI)

Develop & customize SDE, SIL, PLP mappings
Modify existing ETL to accommodate new business requirements
Create new interfaces/packages
Handle incremental & full load strategies
Debug and fix load failures

Data Warehouse Development

Design & extend Fact and Dimension tables
Implement Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1/2/3)
Create indexes & partitions for performance
Maintain data integrity & referential constraints
Write complex SQL for transformations

OBIEE / Reporting Development

Modify RPD (Physical, BMM, Presentation layers)
Create new Subject Areas
Develop dashboards & reports
Implement KPIs and calculated measures
Apply row-level & object-level security

Performance Tuning

Optimize slow-running ETL jobs
Improve query performance
Analyze execution plans
Tune repository & BI server

Production Support

Monitor daily ETL loads
Resolve data discrepancies
Handle incident tickets (L2/L3 support)
Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
Coordinate with DBA & infrastructure teams

Documentation & Deployment

Prepare technical design documents (TDD)
Maintain mapping documents
Migrate code across DEV → TEST → PROD
Follow release management processes

Additional Responsibilities (Senior Level)

Architecture design discussions
Effort estimation
Client interaction & requirement gathering
Code review & mentoring junior developers
