Responsibilities:- Develop, calibrate, and validate On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) systems to meet regulatory and OEM standards
- Perform safety diagnostic calibration for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and safety-critical vehicle functions
- Conduct bench, HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and vehicle-level testing to verify diagnostic functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and systems engineers to define diagnostic requirements
- Analyze fault codes, diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and calibration data to identify and resolve issues
- Support compliance with OBD-II, ISO 26262, and other applicable automotive safety and emissions standards
- Document calibration processes, test results, and engineering reports for internal and customer deliverables
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in OBD calibration, safety diagnostics, or automotive embedded systems
- Proficiency with calibration tools such as INCA, CANalyzer, CANoe, or equivalent
- Strong understanding of OBD-II protocols, CAN bus communication, and DTC management
- Familiarity with ISO 26262 functional safety standards and AUTOSAR architecture
- Experience with HIL testing environments and model-based development (MATLAB/Simulink a plus)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
