Responsibilities: Responsible for the delivery of patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of Operating Room Technician. The Obstetrical Technician functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs tasks related to patient care.

Qualifications:

Education:
High School diploma or GED required; and,
1. Successful completion of a certification-eligible training program or
2. Successful completion of a non-certification-eligible training program and three years experience, or
3. Successful completion of an on-the-job training program with one year of experience

Experience:
See above education to experience ratio.

Licenses/Certificates:
Certification preferred;
Current BLS certification
Current NRP or must obtain within six months
