What your practice will look like:
Youll provide continuous, on-site coverage for Labor & Delivery, managing obstetric emergencies, supporting deliveries, and responding to OB ED patients. The role includes inpatient GYN consults and close collaboration with nursing staff, midwives, and community OB/GYN physicians. The model ensures immediate availability for patient care while supporting a highly coordinated, team-based approach.
About the facility:
St. Joseph Health is a regional referral center serving central Texas, with a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit and strong womens services program. The hospital supports approximately 2,000 annual deliveries and includes a Level II NICU with in-house neonatology coverage. Physicians also have the opportunity to work with residents and medical students through an academic affiliation with Texas A&M College of Medicine.
