OB/GYN Physician - Community-Focused Womens Health

Valley Health Systems is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN Physician who is passionate about improving the health of women in our region. Position Highlights

  • Full-time position with a focus on comprehensive, community-centered womens care
  • Hospital privileges required
  • Participates in a supportive group call schedule, typically one call every 8-10 days and one weekend every 8-10 weeks.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: $275,000 plus incentive opportunity
  • Sign-on bonus: $15,000
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, and generous retirement contribution of up to $23,500
  • Generous paid time off with a starting accrual of 200 hours with additional time available in illness banks, personal time and birthday PTO.
  • CME funds and time off provided for continuing education
  • Eligibility for NHSC and state loan repayment programs

What Youll Do

  • Provide a full scope of obstetric and gynecologic services, from prenatal care and delivery to ongoing womens health needs
  • Serve patients of all ages and backgrounds, strengthening access to care in underserved communities
  • Collaborate with skilled providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver team-based, patient-focused care
  • Maintain accurate documentation within our Epic EMR system
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts that advance womens health services

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility for board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current or eligibility for unrestricted West Virginia medical license
