OB/GYN Department Manager

A growing health center in Rockland County, NY is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Department Manager to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. This role entails overseeing the daily clinical and administrative operations of the department, leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring efficient workflows, and creating a positive experience for both patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
• Maximize patient flow and provider efficiency while minimizing patient wait times.
• Coordinate patient care with hospitals and other partner facilities.
• Oversee staff scheduling and coordinate office and surgical schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the OB/GYN department and the billing department, IT department, and other internal departments.
• Supervise all clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth departmental operations, quality patient care, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Manage requisitions for medical supplies and sample medications, and oversee the maintenance and functionality of all equipment in the department.
• Ensure clinical program goals and departmental performance objectives are met. 

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or management experience in a medical office or healthcare setting required.
• Prior OB/GYN experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and patients.
• Computer literate and comfortable learning new software systems.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
