Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Director of Nutrition Services, the Operations Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of district-wide school site operations, including middle schools, elementary schools, the Central Kitchen, and the Catering program. This position focuses on personnel accountability and production efficiency, ensuring that site-level staff effectively execute the programs and policies established by the Director.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE -Education: Graduation from high school supplemented by college-level coursework in food service management, culinary arts, or a related field. -Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of institutional food service experience, including direct experience in a supervisory capacity over large-scale production. (Note: This distinguishes the role from the Specialist, who focuses on "analytical" experience). LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS -Valid State-approved Management Food Safety and Sanitation Certification AND Instructor Certification. -Valid California Class C driver s license.

• Letter of Introduction (Address to Dr. Kendra Peterson, Assistant Superintendent Human Resources Development)
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 Letters)
• Resume
