    Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Nutrition Services Clerk!

    As a Nutrition Services Clerk at MercyOne, you will be responsible for enhancing patient and family satisfaction by collecting and recording their food selections. Assists in ensuring that patients receive foods/meals according to their prescribed diet. Works closely with Clinical Nutrition and other IDT to ensure patient's nutrition needs are being met. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.

    What You'll Do:

    • Assists in assuirng patients receive food according to prescribed diets.

    • Maintains excellent customer relations, displaying a professional image.

    • Offers appropriate food suggestions to patients in order to meet their needs/preferences.

    • Reports concerns to RD's, Nurse managers, and other team members.

    • Inputs patient's meal preference/menu choices.

    • Delivers room service trays and late trays withing target delivery time.

    Schedule:

    • Full-Time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week)

    • Varied shifts based on departmental needs

    • Weekend and holiday rotation required

    General Requirements:

    • Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties.

    • Ability to measure weights/volume.

    • Basic math

    • Mandatory Reporter Training

    • Strong customer relations and communication skills.

    Education:

    • High School diploma preferred but not required.
