Nutrition Services Aide/Cook Part Time 44 hours per pay

Responsibilities: A Nutrition Services Aide and cook prepare food for hospital patients, guests, customers and employees. They assist in washing dishes, answering the room service phone line, delivering patient trays, food preparation, food storage, cleaning, stocking, and operating the cash register.The Nutrition Services Aide must always follow safe food handling practices. In addition, the employee must understand prescribed therapeutic and modified diets. 

Qualifications: It is preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide/Cook has a ServSafe Certification. It is also preferred that the Nutrition Services Aide/Cook has a High School diploma or equivalent training or up to one-year related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience in food service and commercial food preparation and following prescribed diets is preferred.
