The Nursing Skills Laboratory Assistant supports the day-to-day operation of the nursing skills laboratory by ensuring that equipment, supplies, and learning spaces are prepared and maintained for student instruction and practice. This position assists faculty and students in a hands-on learning environment focused on fundamental and advanced nursing skills. The role emphasizes laboratory readiness, inventory management, student support during open lab sessions, and maintenance of a safe and organized educational setting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Nurse Aide program or enrollment in a practical or registered nursing program.
  • Experience in healthcare, health sciences education, laboratory support, or related field.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.

Additional Considerations:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred, nursing student, or another healthcare-related credential.
