The Nurse Manager holds 24-hour accountability for the quality of patient care, efficiency of operations, and human resources management for area(s) assigned. S/he will strive to achieve the optimal patient experience in a cost-effective manner, while applying evidenced-based leadership and practice. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the provision of safe patient care, in a manner that is consistent with the professional standards and hospital policies. The Nurse Manger promotes a positive and professional environment; supervises charge nurses and front line staff; maintains a stable and productive staff; involves staff at all levels in Shared Governance and Magnet Forces; and makes data driven decisions. S/he will role model performance and behaviors that are consistent with the values of the organization, furthering its mission, vision and strategic plan.
Departmental Specific Summary
The Family Medicine Nurse Manager holds 24-hour accountability for the quality of patient care, operational efficiency, and human resources management across the Family Medicine service line, including oversight of the Verdugo, HC2, and Arcadia clinic locations. This role is responsible for the management and coordination of ambulatory primary care operations serving patients across the lifespan, from newborns through geriatric populations. Providing comprehensive, continuous healthcare focuses on preventative wellness, acute sick visits, chronic disease management, and care coordination with specialists. The Nurse Manager provides leadership, competency validate, and operational oversight for clinical staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Medical Assistants, front line staff and Psychiatry Medical Assistants, fostering collaboration across primary care and behavioral health services.

The annual base salary range for this position is $151,424.00 - $249,850.00.
