Pay Range:

The base pay range for this position is

$90,000.00-$170,000.00 Annual

however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Job Title: Birthplace Manager

Work Schedule for this Position: Typically Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibility. There will be an understanding that the manager be available or on call as needed.

Position Overview:

The department manager is responsible for overseeing and leading a departmental team to achieve both departmental and organizational goals and objectives. The department manager plays a crucial role in planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the departmental team, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services and completion of projects.

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide leadership and direction to department team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture within the department and organization.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental and organizational strategies.
  • Participation in Peds Committee, OB/ Primary Care Committee, and Code Committee.
  • Implement and execute strategic plans to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of departmental projects and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Allocate resources efficiently to meet project and operational requirements.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize expenditures.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members. Manage staff schedules and payroll functions.
  • Evaluate individual performance through performance reviews and/or quarterly conversations.
  • Address job performance and behavioral issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Foster strong communication and coordination between departments.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the department and across the organization.

About You!

This Job is For You if You Have:

  • Inpatient obstetric certification.
  • Maintain active licensure, in good standing, acceptable in the State of Washington.
  • Current NRP, BLS and ACLS.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and strategically.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and foster innovation.

A Wow if You Have:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or other Health care related field.
  • Two years in a nursing leadership role or has demonstrated leadership abilities during their employment at Pullman Regional Hospital.
