WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A NURSING HOME NURSE PRACTITIONER - APRN:

• Serve as a central provider in patient care by conducting comprehensive physical exams and reviewing detailed medical histories
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing to support accurate medical decision-making
• Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions across diverse patient populations
• Prescribe medications responsibly while developing individualized treatment plans
• Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices to support long-term wellness

CRITERIA:

• A master's or doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited program
• An active Florida nurse practitioner license and national certification
