Billing Supervisor — Long-Term Care | Remote
Our client is a nursing home group seeking an experienced Billing Supervisor to oversee the full revenue cycle for their long-term care facilities. This is a remote role for someone who knows LTC billing inside and out and can lead a team without hand-holding.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and manage the day-to-day billing operations for a nursing home portfolio
- Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance claims from submission through reimbursement
- Monitor accounts receivable, identify collection issues, and drive resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal and state billing regulations and payer requirements
- Train, mentor, and hold accountable a team of billing staff
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Prepare billing reports and present AR metrics to leadership
What We're Looking For
Must Have
- 3–5+ years of billing experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting
- Working knowledge of Medicare Part A, Medicaid, and managed care billing
- Supervisory or team lead experience
- Strong understanding of UB-04 claims and LTC revenue cycle workflows
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with PointClickCare or similar LTC software
- Familiarity with MDS/RUG or PDPM reimbursement models
- CPC, CPMA, or related billing certification
