Responsibilities of a Nursing Educator
- Facilitate and effectively deliver nursing curriculum in the classroom and/or clinical sites.
- Supervise students and demonstrate hands-on patient care at nursing clinical sites.
- Teach nursing techniques and provide sufficient practice to students to develop skill proficiency.
- Evaluate learning outcomes of students and maintain accurate student records.
- Prepare students for an exciting career in nursing.
Requirements of a Nursing Educator
- BSN or MSN
- Active RN license in CT
- 3 years of recent clinical experience
- Experience in any of the following:
- Med-Surg
- Long-Term Care nursing
- Teaching experience - a plus
- Proficient with technology
