NURSING DIRECTOR - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT JOB OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Nursing Director, Emergency Department to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical direction for a high-volume emergency services department. This leader will be responsible for ensuring exceptional patient care, driving quality and performance initiatives, managing departmental operations, and supporting the professional development of nursing leaders and staff.

REQUIREMENTS Education
- Master's Degree required (Nursing preferred)
- Candidates without a Master's degree must be willing to obtain a Master's in Nursing or Business Administration within five years
Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Previous leadership or management experience required
Licensure & Certifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- Multi-State RN License required based on state of residence
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
- CPI Certification

- Ensure fiscal accountability and effective budget management
Clinical Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and professional standards
- Monitor patient care outcomes and quality metrics
