Summary:
The purpose of this position is to provide support to the operations of the graduate nursing department. The student will have the opportunity to work with the nursing faculty and their stakeholders supporting simulation, clinical placements, certification and licensure documentation.
Job Responsibilities:
Office work would include helping to direct students to appropriate resources, sorting and distributing mail, document scanning, printing.
Run weekly reports in the clinical compliance system and provide reports to nursing administration for review
Assists with the development and editing of content for nursing documents, correspondence, website and clinical site placement requests.
Collaborates with the nursing team to support onboarding activities for all new adjuncts including but not limited to the preparation of orientation materials and creation of electronic personnel files.
Supports HR team in program initiatives including student visit days, pinning and graduation ceremonies, simulation and skills lab preparation and organization.
Collaborates with the nursing team to identify and implement projects to improve processes and services.
Assist with registration reconciliation to ensure all students are registered for appropriate courses
Maintains current and complete confidential electronic personnel files, via the Colleague and Exxat systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior working experience preferred
Must maintain strict confidentiality with all employee and student records and information
Must be a current full-time undergraduate student at Maryville University
Must be Federal Work-Study eligible (a US citizen that has filled out the FAFSA) and available to work during the Spring 2025 semester
