    Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Guerin Children's: Expert Care for the Tiniest Patients. Cedars‑Sinai Guerin Children's houses a state-of-the-art, Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Each year, approximately 7,000 babies are born at Cedars-Sinai, and our Los Angeles NICU provides around-the-clock, life-sustaining care for those who are seriously ill. Specialists customize treatment approaches, from infant-led feeding to Southern California's first Neuro Critical Care Program.

    We are seeking a Nursing Communications Technician (NCT) to serve as a central communication and administrative resource for the NICU unit. Working under the general supervision of a licensed caregiver, the NCT supports patients, families, nurses, physicians, and other departments while helping the unit operate safely and efficiently.

    Qualifications

    Education

    • High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience, required.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting, or successful completion of an approved course in hospital clerical responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
