Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid CA-RN license
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- Level 1 trauma facility/academic center experience
- MICU experience
- Applicants must be able to work directly on W2
- Prior work experience in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university
- Oncology skillset
- Less than 1 week RTO during assignment preferred
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a healing environment for patients and families
- Mobilize patient strengths for recovery and care management
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assess and teach patients and families for self-care and illness prevention
- Monitor and evaluate patient data, adjust care plans as necessary
- Participate in team building and contribute to positive morale
- Utilize technology for communication and documentation
