STNAs must be committed to the Patient Centered Care Model. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct nursing care and nursing-related services to residents in a long term care facility. 'Nursing and nursing-related services' means, when performed by a nursing assistant, activities including attending to the personal care needs of the residents and providing personal assistance and activities delegated by a nurse which may include implementation of portions of the nursing regimen, as defined by Division C of section 4723.02 of the Ohio Revised Code. |
