Nursing Assistant - Rehab Care Department - Full Time 72 Hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

In this role you will be:

• Utilizing the knowledge, technique, and communication skills to therapeutically meet the needs of assigned med-surg patients.
• Identifying each patient's age-specific needs and providing the appropriate care.
• Utilizing excellent interpersonal skills with legible penmanship and computer knowledge.
• Utilizing the hospital computer system.
• Working collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to provide direct patient care and report patient changes to the Registered Nurse.
• Providing direct patient care to the rehab patient.

Required:

• EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent
• EXPERIENCE: 1 year med-surg experience preferred
• LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
• Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred
• BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
