Minimum Job Requirements
Education - High school diploma or GED
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Ability to communicate with patients, staff, and coworkers.
Certification / License
BLS, CPI; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
Experience
One year of experience taking care of patients and dealing with the public preferred.

Under the direction of the RN, demonstrates competency in basic and complex direct patient care and throughput processes. Must demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, teamwork, organization and prioritization skills. Is responsible for designated equipment and supplies used in the care of assigned patients. Must be flexible in changing assignments, workload and learning new skills. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned unit.
