Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant (MA), Gastroenterology

AS A NUSRING ASSISTANT or MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA), you will support the physician or mid-level provider with assisting in development, implementation and evaluation of patient care in the office. He/she will be required to coordinate the care with other services or outside health care providers. You will serve as a liaison between the physician, the mid-level provider and all other health care providers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma required
• At least one year of patient care experience required
• Knowledge in regulatory requirements of third party payors such as Medicare, Medicaid and Blue Shield preferred
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association within the first year of hire required
• Previous office experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications preferred
