Chenega Government Mission Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, is looking for multiple Nursing Assistants to support the Indian Health Service’s Lawton Indian Hospital. There are multiple openings supporting different departments, including: Med/Surg, Outpatient, ER, and Surgery.

Responsibilities:

The below are sample responsibilities – specifics will be based on the department and role.

  • Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Support patient mobility, including transferring, repositioning, ambulating, and transporting patients as needed.
  • Measure, record, and report vital signs and other patient observations according to established procedures.
  • Observe changes in patient condition and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate licensed staff.
  • Maintain patient rooms and care areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and their families.
  • Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and confidentiality guidelines.
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized Nursing Assistant program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
