Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility
- Obtain and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other patient care data as directed
- Assist nursing staff with patient admissions, transfers, discharges, and repositioning
- Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times
- Observe and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
- Ensure patient rooms and care areas remain clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Support infection prevention and safety protocols
- Provide compassionate care and excellent customer service to patients and families
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Previous healthcare or patient care experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
