Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment.

• Department: CFH Cardiac Medical Unit
• ️ Shift: Days
• Schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM | Variable days of the week
• Status: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
• Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Post-high school specialized training preferred

Licensure & Certification

• Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred
• BLS required

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
