The Nursing Administrative Coordinator, aka House Supervisor, is a representative of patient care, hospital administration on all shifts. The NAC assures the delivery of quality patient care and accomplishment of the goals and objectives of the Meriter system on a shift-to-shift basis. The NAC is responsible for the management and coordination of all hospital departments and personnel in the absence of direct line managers. Overall, the nursing administrative coordinator serves as an advocate for patient care staff and the hospital as a whole.
