Description

Nursery Worker: 2 hours a week to cover the nursery at Lindenwood Christian Church-Collierville.

Duties:
  • Take care of children ages 6 weeks-3 years in the nursery. This includes but it not limited to diaper changes, napping, monitoring safe play, and administering snacks.
  • Will also make sure the ratio of 8/1 is kept at all times and get more volunteers or fill in as necessary.
  • Will also have first option to cover childcare needs outside Sunday morning when appropriate.
  • Will notify the Ministry staff of any supplies needed for the nursery including but not limited to snack, wipes, and supplies needed for the lessons.
  • Will make sure all children 3 and up are encouraged to go to Young Hearths worship and no children over 5 are allowed to stay in the nursery unless preapproved by the ministry staff.

Schedule:
  • Sunday mornings be at Lindenwood by 8:45 to make sure all supplies are gathered and in place and stay until all children are picked up after worship, or 11:00 whichever is later.
  • If unable to be there on a Sunday, try first to get a sub then make sure the ministry staff knows.
  • Weekly check-in with the ministry staff on any supple needs or instances that occurred. Can be via text or email, not a formal meeting.
  • Compensation: $15 per hour.
