Part-Time Nurse Vaccinator (RN)

Location: 2340 West Sycamore Street, Kokomo, IN 46901

Schedule
Must be available to work approximately 20 hours per week
Flexibility required with availability 25–30 hours per week
Shifts are scheduled anytime between 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to administer a variety of immunizations in a retail clinic setting. This position plays an essential role in promoting community health through safe and efficient vaccine administration while providing outstanding patient care.
Job Responsibilities
Administer vaccines including:
- Influenza (Flu)
- COVID-19
- MMR
- Shingles
- Pneumonia
- RSV
- Other CDC-recommended immunizations
Other Responsibilities
- Review patient immunization history and assess vaccine eligibility
- Educate patients regarding vaccines, potential side effects, and aftercare
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions following vaccination
- Accurately document vaccinations using electronic health record systems
- Maintain compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and state regulations
- Ensure proper vaccine storage, handling, and inventory management
- Utilize appropriate PPE and infection prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 6 months of recent clinical nursing experience
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Comfortable administering immunizations to patients of all ages
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced retail clinic environment
- Reliable transportation to the clinic location
