Job Description
A-Line Staffing is seeking a Part-Time Nurse Vaccinator (RN) in Kennewick, WA. The Nurse Vaccinator will provide safe, efficient, and compassionate vaccination services in a retail pharmacy setting.
Schedule & Availability
Part-time / seasonal
25-30 hours of availibility required
Shifts may be scheduled between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines including Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended immunizations.
- Review patient information and vaccination history before administration.
- Screen patients for contraindications, allergies, and other vaccination considerations.
- Obtain and document patient consent.
- Educate patients regarding vaccines, expected side effects, and post-vaccination care.
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
- Maintain accurate vaccination records and documentation.
- Follow infection control, PPE, safety, and vaccine storage/handling protocols.
- Communicate professionally with patients, pharmacy staff, and healthcare team members.
- Provide a positive and professional patient experience.
- Follow all applicable state, federal, and organizational vaccination guidelines.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State or applicable compact eligibility.
- Current BLS/CPR certification from an accepted provider.
- Minimum 6 months of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Vaccination/immunization experience preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-service skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established clinical protocols.
