Description
A recognized health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join its skilled nursing facility in Queens.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday every other weekend)
- Hours: 7:30am to 4pm
- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical supervision and direction to nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Monitor resident care, documentation, and medication administration for accuracy and compliance
- Support admissions, discharges, care planning, and clinical assessments
- Oversee staffing coverage, assignments, and shift operations to maintain safe patient care
- Help ensure regulatory readiness by enforcing policies, procedures, infection control, and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active NYS Registered Nurse license
- AHA BLS certification
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in Nursing
- Experience working with multiple Electronic Medical Record systems
Desired Skills:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- Experience with DOH and CMS regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with MDS or GG assessments
