    Description

    Responsible for nursing functions, providing patient care, and performing limited medical obstetrical ultrasounds at Prestonwood Pregnancy Center - Richardson ("PPC").

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with clinic staff and volunteers to coordinate patient flow
    • Perform limited medical screening and pregnancy tests
    • Perform limited obstetrical ultrasounds in accordance with delegated orders
    • Complete initial patient assessments
    • Assist with patient/family education and instruct patients as directed
    • Maintain patient documentation according to clinic protocol
    • Document and report test results
    • Assist with follow up of patients medical conditions and test results
    • Collect and run lab tests
    • Incorporate principals of safety in all clinical operations
    • Demonstrate safe use of equipment related to patient care
    • Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching ministry
    • Pro-life in word and pro-love in action
    • Possess and maintain current RN license
    • Possess or be willing to obtain sonography training
    • Comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
    • Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus
    • High level of confidentiality
    • Experience working with volunteers a plus
    • Commitment to continued professional development especially in the areas of obstetrics, gynecology and women's health issues
    • Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
    • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility to include approximately two evenings per week, one Saturday per month, and PPC scheduled events

    • Willingness to serve at other PPC locations as needed
