The Surgical Ecosystem Advanced Footprint: Work within a total of 28 licensed operating rooms distributed across four specialized zones (Main OR suite, Outpatient Surgery, GI Laboratory, and an Eye Surgery Area).

Overview:

• Advanced Footprint: Work within a total of 28 licensed operating rooms distributed across four specialized zones (Main OR suite, Outpatient Surgery, GI Laboratory, and an Eye Surgery Area).
• Women's Services Division: Separate from the main footprint, this division features 16 labor rooms, 10 triage beds, and 3 dedicated obstetric operating rooms for complex deliveries and C-sections.
• Robotic & Minimally Invasive Platforms: Heavily integrated with computer-assisted surgical systems for precise, micro-incision urological, gynecological, and general surgeries.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care: Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process and principles of primary nursing.
• Leadership & Delegation: Assume Charge Nurse duties when assigned; oversee and delegate tasks appropriately to Surgical Technologists, Patient Care Associates, Guest Associates, and Anesthesia Technologists.
• Adaptability: Learn and implement new clinical methods, procedures, and techniques driven by departmental or organizational changes.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to hospital policies, departmental procedures, and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Required: Active, unencumbered Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Preferred: Professional Specialty Certification.

• Required: 1–2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years of relevant perioperative nursing experience.
