The RN assesses patient needs, develops nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and evaluates patient outcomes. Under the direction of the Director or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN assesses patient needs, develops nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and evaluates patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing

Licensure & Certifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be completed prior to completion of orientation

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
