At Home Instead of the Black Hills, our mission is simple:
We are leaders in creating a better What's Next for our Clients, Families, and Care Pros—deliberately different, centered on people, and rooted in C.A.R.E.
We believe exceptional care begins with exceptional people.
That's why we aren't building a workforce.
We're building the capacity to care.
Every day, families trust us during some of life's most important and vulnerable moments. They invite us into their homes, share their concerns, and rely on us to help the people they love remain safe, independent, and connected.
That trust is never taken lightly.
As an In-Home Nurse, you'll play a vital role in helping clients age with dignity, supporting families with confidence, and strengthening the care experience for everyone involved.
If you're looking for a position where relationships matter as much as clinical skill, where your voice is valued, and where your work has a visible impact every day, we'd love to meet you.
Your work will directly influence the safety, well-being, and quality of life of the clients and families we serve.
In this role, you will:
Every visit is an opportunity to provide more than clinical care.
It's an opportunity to provide confidence, comfort, and connection.
The nurses who succeed at Home Instead are not simply clinically competent.
They are people who naturally align with our values and believe care is built on relationships.
They tend to be:
Most importantly, they genuinely believe older adults deserve exceptional care, dignity, and respect.
Many healthcare organizations talk about culture.
We work intentionally to build it.
Our C.A.R.E. Values guide every decision we make:
We lead with understanding, kindness, and respect.
We follow through on our commitments and pay attention to what matters.
We show up when people need us most.
We build others up and stay connected to our purpose.
We earn trust through consistency and dependability.
At Home Instead, relationships come first.
Not just with our clients.
With our team as well.
We're intentionally creating an Employer of Choice culture where Care Pros and office professionals feel valued, developed, recognized, and connected.
Because when our team thrives, our clients benefit.
We believe great care starts with caring for the people who provide it.
That's why we offer:
You'll join a team backed by more than 12 years of local service and over 700,000 hours of care provided throughout the Black Hills.
We're intentional about who we invite onto our team.
Not because we're looking for perfection.
Because our clients, families, and fellow Care Pros deserve teammates who share our commitment to compassion, accountability, professionalism, and service.
If you're searching for a place where your work matters, your relationships matter, and your contributions are genuinely valued, this may be exactly the opportunity you've been looking for.
If you're a nurse who wants to combine clinical excellence with meaningful human connection, we'd love to start a conversation.
