Nurse Practitioner – VA Disability Evaluations | Palm Bay, FL

    Flexible Hours, Monday–Friday | Part-Time or Full-Time

The IMA Group is looking for Nurse Practitioners in Palm Bay, FL to perform disability evaluations for U.S. veterans through the VA benefits process. Build a schedule around your life — pick up a couple of days a week or work a full caseload, all within a Monday–Friday, daytime-only window. No treatment plans. No prescribing. No call schedule — just meaningful, focused clinical work that honors those who served.

    What You'll Do

    • Conduct medical disability evaluations for veteran claimants
    • Review medical records, diagnostics, and supporting documentation
    • Document findings in clear, accurate electronic reports
    • Ensure evaluations meet VA quality and documentation standards

Why NPs Are Making the Switch

    • Flexible scheduling, Monday–Friday — choose part-time or full-time hours that fit your life
    • Evaluation-only — no ongoing patient management or panel pressure
    • No nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call — ever
    • Predictable days, every day
    • Strong onboarding plus ongoing clinical support
    • A rare chance to serve veterans directly through your expertise

    What You Bring

    • Active, unrestricted NP license
    • Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program
    • Current clinical NP experience
    • Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics, or related specialty preferred

    What You'll Get

    • Competitive pay
    • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (full-time)
    • Generous PTO and paid holidays (full-time)
    • 401(k) with company match
    • Tuition reimbursement and student loan assistance
    • Paid parental leave

This role is a fit if you're:

    • Looking to step back from a full patient panel without leaving clinical work behind
    • Building a flexible or portfolio-style career across a few roles
    • Returning to the workforce and want a low-stress, structured environment
    • Ready for full-time work that still respects a real schedule

If you're ready for a role that respects your time as much as your training, join The IMA Group and put your skills toward something that matters — one evaluation, one veteran, at a time.

Apply today — tell us whether you're looking for part-time or full-time, and we'll build a schedule around it.
