We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join an employer-sponsored health clinic providing comprehensive primary and occupational health services. This position focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct pre-employment, annual wellness, and preventive physical examinations.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions using evidence-based clinical guidelines and supervising physician protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide preventive health screenings and wellness initiatives.
- Evaluate and treat workplace injuries and illnesses.
- Review and discuss patient cases with the Medical Director and client leadership as appropriate.
- Oversee employee respirator fit testing and hearing conservation programs performed by clinic staff.
- Deliver age-appropriate patient assessments and interventions.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic testing.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals through appropriate referrals.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical record (EMR) documentation.
- Assist with general clinic operations and perform additional clinical duties as needed.
- Practice in accordance with established clinical protocols and professional ethical standards.
Required Qualifications- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
- Minimum of one year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or an Urgent Care setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care.
Preferred Qualifications- Active DEA registration.
- Experience in occupational or employer-based healthcare.
