Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing advanced nursing care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a physician. Performs physical examinations, orders diagnostic tests, develops treatment plans, and prescribes drugs or other therapies.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED:
1. BSN and successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner (general or specialized) from an approved nurse practitioner program. 2. Current state registered nurse license; current state license as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority; Current CPR certification. 3. Keyboarding and internet skills, ability to work with electronic medical records, webpages and patient portal.
PREFERRED:
1. MSN 2. Minimum three years of professional nursing experience in a clinic setting, plus two years of nurse practitioner experience. 3. Compassionate, thorough, focuses and detail oriented. Able to recognize, analyze and prioritize problems. Preference for dealing with people who are ill and need help. Displays an outgoing, warm and helpful attitude. Tact to deal effectively with patients, guests, co- workers and physicians. Able to communicate clearly with patients over the telephone and in person.

Work Hours:: 0800-1630
