Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (Float) – MinuteClinic 
Location: San Antonio, TX (78258 area) – onsite/patient-facing 

Pay Rate: $75.00/hr (W-2)

Hours: ~38 hours/week

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a retail clinic setting. This is a patient-facing role supporting MinuteClinic operations, including potential float coverage as needed.

Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning.
Perform routine exams, diagnostic testing, and patient follow-up.
Support chronic condition management and promote wellness, screenings, and healthy lifestyle choices.
Coordinate care plans with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Complete clinic operations as needed (opening/closing procedures, inventory, insurance verification/collections, maintaining a clean environment).
Work autonomously while demonstrating strong communication, organization, adaptability, and technology proficiency.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year recent experience in primary care, family medicine, or urgent care (required).
Active NP or PA license in the state where you will be working, in good standing (no current or prior disciplinary actions).
BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) (required).
Master’s degree (NP) and current national board certification OR applicable PA education/credentials per state requirements.

Schedule / Important Details
May include working three out of every six weekends and possible holiday rotations.
On-call rotation may be required (if applicable, note this at submission time).
DEA registration may be required during onboarding (role-dependent).
