Healthcare United is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time Pain Management APP opportunity in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a multidisciplinary pain management team focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.
The incoming APP will work closely with physicians and clinical team members to provide patient-centered care, develop individualized treatment plans, support interventional and regenerative therapies under physician supervision, and help improve patient function and quality of life.
Key responsibilities include:
• Patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations
• Evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain conditions
• Review of diagnostic tests and clinical findings
• Development and adjustment of individualized treatment plans
• Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
• Support with interventional pain procedures and regenerative therapies
• Patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and procedural expectations
• Accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

Requirements
• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current and unrestricted Florida APRN or PA license
• Board certification as applicable
• Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, primary care, or related specialty preferred
• Experience assisting with interventional procedures strongly preferred
• Familiarity with regenerative medicine and interventional pain therapies is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
• EHR proficiency
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
