We're seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for outpatient care at two Indian Health Service facilities.
Rosebud IHS Hospital — Rosebud, SD · UPCOMING (2 positions, NP or PA)
- Adult and pediatric primary care, chronic disease management, preventive care, well-child visits, same-day acute visits and minor procedures
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no inpatient or overnight call
- 3-month initial term with options up to 12 months
- At least one year of outpatient primary care experience as an NP or PA
Piñon Health Center — Navajo Nation, AZ · AWAITING AWARD (NP)
- Family Practice or Acute Care NP covering walk-in visits, urgent care and the teen clinic, with occasional Chinle ER/urgent care coverage
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; 13-week or one-year terms
- At least six months' experience in the specialty; ANCC board certification; valid driver's license; ACLS and PALS recommended
All locations require
- NP: accredited NP program (MSN or DNP) and current ANCC or AANPCB certification. PA: ARC-PA–accredited master's and current NCCPA certification.
- Active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state; prescriptive authority and DEA registration (Schedules II–V)
- Current BLS
- IHS, FQHC or rural experience strongly preferred
