Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant: Orthopedic Surgery, Saginaw

Summary: MyMichigan Health has an opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic Surgery Team in Saginaw! Experience with Orthopedic Surgery or Sports Medicine preferred, new graduates will be considered.

MyMichigan Health has an opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic Surgery Team in Saginaw!

• Full time
• Three 12-hour shifts per week

• Call – During clinic week until 10p and one weekend a month.

Responsibilities:

• Clinic – new patients and follow-ups
• First assisting in the OR
• Inpatient rounding – new consults and follow-ups  

Certifications and Licensures:

• AHA approved BLS Certification
• AHA approved ACLS Certification

Required Education:

• Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Experience with Orthopedic Surgery or Sports Medicine preferred, new graduates will be considered

Other Information:

• Employment is contingent on successful completion of MyMichigan Health’s credentialing process
• Robust onboarding and training program
