Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant CVICU-CVIMU – Full-Time Nights – Houston, TX

Position Highlights

• Full-time schedule: 3x12s (night shifts)
• No weekend shifts and no on-call responsibilities
• Rotating holiday coverage

Candidate Requirements

• AGACNP or PA-C certification required
• 2–3 years of RN or NP or PA experience in Critical Care required
• Cardiology experience strongly preferred
• New graduate PA or NPs must have prior RN experience in Critical Care ICU or Cardiac Care units, including exposure to:
  • Fresh transplants
  • Cardiovascular recovery
  • LVADs and ECMO
• Experience with heart failure patient population

Patient Population

• Cardiothoracic surgery patients
• Endovascular and open aortic repair cases
• CABG and valve surgeries

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation - $135,000 - $148,000 with shift differentials
