    Description

    Join a dedicated team of cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons and other healthcare professionals providing specialty care to cardiac and vascular patients. You will perform advanced cardiac and vascular diagnostic and treatment services including cardiac angioplasty and open-heart surgery, as well as many other advanced procedures.
    Perform physical examinations on Adult patients to include patient’s medical, family, and social history.
    • Documents all patient visits in electronic medical record in a timely manner 
    • Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors 
    • Interprets subjective and objective data to formulate a diagnosis 
    • Formulates treatment plans within the provider’s scope of practice 
    • Implements therapeutic interventions when appropriate 
    • Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic laboratory tests, EKGs and radiological studies 
    • Enters all orders for treatments and medications to be administered 
    • Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions 
    • Provides patient education and counseling regarding disease processes, test results, discharge planning, and preventative healthcare 
    • Makes appropriate referrals to other health professionals and community agencies
