    Description

    Nurse Practitioner Clinic Manager for Occupational Health

    This nurse practitioner will be employed by Stamford Health but work on-site within the Synchrony Financial Employee Health Clinic on Longridge Road in Stamford, CT. The RDNP Clinic Manager will lead day-to-day operations of a corporate wellness clinic, deliver direct clinical services (including immunizations and medication prescribing) and provide evidence-based nutrition counseling. This role blends hands-on patient care with clinic management responsibilities, ensuring compassionate employee-centered care.

    Schedule: Full time. Monday through Friday, 37.5 Hours/Week. Approximately 8AM to 5PM with flexibility.

    Major Responsibilities:

    • Provide episodic care for common health concerns (e.g., minor illness/injury triage, and basic assessments).
    • Administer vaccinations, including seasonal flu shots, and manage immunization events.
    • Perform health screenings (e.g., blood pressure, BMI, glucose checks as applicable)
    • Provide individualized nutrition counseling and coaching (e.g., weight management, cardiometabolic health, diabetes prevention/support, GI concerns, general wellness).
    • Develop and deliver nutrition education through group sessions and workshops.
    • Create nutrition plans in alignment with employee goals and health risks.
    • Oversee daily clinic operations (scheduling, workflow, supplies, vendor coordination, and service delivery).
    • Manage vaccine inventory and storage.

    Required Qualifications

    • Active CT Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License
    • Nutrition credential and formal training as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN), Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), or equivalent
    • Minimum 5+ years' experience delivering structured nutrition programs/coaching in clinic setting
    • BLS and ACLS certification
