    Nurse Practitioner – VA Medical Disability Evaluations

    If you're looking to step away from traditional patient care while continuing to make a meaningful impact, The IMA Group has an opportunity for you. We are seeking Nurse Practitioners to perform disability evaluations for U.S. veterans as part of the VA benefits process.

     

    This role focuses exclusively on medical assessments. You'll evaluate veterans, review their medical history, and document your clinical findings. There are no treatment plans, medication management, or ongoing patient care responsibilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform medical disability evaluations for veteran claimants.
    • Review medical records, diagnostic results, and supporting documentation.
    • Complete accurate electronic medical reports based on examination findings.
    • Ensure evaluations meet VA documentation and quality standards.

    Qualifications

    • Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
    • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
    • Current clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
    • Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), Orthopedics, or a related specialty is preferred.
